Bob Books
I am obsessed with these Bob Books! If you haven’t heard of them they are designed to teach reading skills to readers that are just starting. Is it just me or when you have a student learning to read the library books are too hard and you can never seem to find something just at their level. Look no more, these books seriously fill that missing gap.
I love using the set 1 for beginner readers because it works on a few sounds at a time. For example this book works on the sounds M, A , T and S.

These books have really helped my students build their confidence and allowed me to focus on certain sounds, and have something for them to read and practice with that have to do with those sounds. If you want to see more about how I use Bob Books check out my YouTube all about them:
